ITV News London is looking at housing in the capital. On Monday, Rightmove said the average cost of a home in London is now £522K and an ITV News poll revealed 4 in 10 Londoners have thought about leaving because of the cost of living.
Figures from Rightmove show buying a house or flat here is nearly double the cost of buying anywhere else in the country.

In the first of our special reports Luke Hanaharan has been to the place where house prices have risen most in the whole of the UK - a whopping 33 percent.
