Strong wind at Leeds Bradford Airport causes plane to divert 

A British Airways plane was forced to abort a landing at Leeds Bradford Airport due to strong winds.
The internal flight from Heathrow attempted to land around 14:30 GMT but had to divert to Manchester, where it landed safely.
The Leeds Bradford Airport is the highest in England and experienced wind speeds of about 60 mph (96 kph) earlier.
Thousands of passengers had their flights in and out of the airport disrupted by the strong winds.
Coaches were drafted in to transport passengers to alternative airports on one of the busiest days of the year.
